Cricket for me, all day long. Once took a day off work with a load of work mates to watch England v S Africa and I swear nothing of note happened the whole day - found it a complete waste of time

Has anyone mentioned Motor Sports yet?
I used to enjoy F1 as a kid with JPS Lotus etc and real character racers but it has been pretty crap and dull since Senna died

the Irish play some pretty odd sports, Road Bowling amongst others, goes for 3 miles, throwing a steel ball down the road..........................a public road at that!

Tennis is in fact one of the best sports, demanding mental toughness as well as highly-developed skill. It has a great scoring system too, which means that the momentum in a match can change within a few points.
The worst so-called sports must be the blood sports. Of real sports, I'd say that handball is pretty meaningless and too easy.

Yeah the Ryder Cup IS a good watch, but you have to really love golf to watch it every weekend, and not just tourneys like that.
